Howdy! I’m Fox! I’m a self-taught artist from West Virginia, starting out with graphite, digital art, watercolor, color pencil, and acrylic. I apprenticed under Mingo Lozoya at The Church Tattoo Company in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 2019. In 2020, I became a full-time tattoo artist, specializing in all things anime, manga, neotraditional, kawaii, spooky, nerdy, and colorful. A lot of my art is influenced by anime, cartoons, and high-fantasy media such as Dungeons and Dragons, Game of Thrones, Elden Ring, Skyrim, etc. I dabble in both super colorful, sparkly, and hyper-pop pieces as well as spooky, macabre, dark, witchy art.

I currently prefer to work in short, easy sessions of around 4-6 hours a day, as I injured my back in 2022, along with chronic arthritis throughout my body. In short terms, I’m a 20-something-year old in the body of a 80-something grandma, so we have to be gentle so my spine doesn’t snap in half. Nobody likes a snapped-in-half tattoo artist. Along with bones of glass, I also have the immune system of a Walmart goldfish, so I ask that if my clients have any sign of anything contagious- coughing, fever, runny nose, sore throat, etc- for my sake, notify me and stay home.

In my free time outside of the tattoo shop, I’m a gamer, cosplayer, streamer, dungeon master, writer, digital artist, and Appalachian mountain-born green witch. I run a small business named Elvene Fox in which I vend at small renaissance festivals and local markets as a fortune teller and artisan, selling jewelry, artwork, tarot readings, trinkets, spells and components, divination, and other various handcrafted goods with my best friends in NC. You might catch me playing video games, primarily on PC, but I have Playstation and Nintendo consoles as well. As a variety streamer on Twitch (@foxiinaru), I play whatever strikes my fancy.

My favorite snacks are baked goods, fruity sweets, Oreos, and Swedish Fish. I love sushi and ramen, and will throw down in the kitchen any day of the week. I love fruit or milk boba teas, McDonald’s Sprite, and apple juice. The way to my heart is with food, or through the 4th and 5th ribs- though I prefer the first option. I collect (hoard) dice, squishmallows, rocks, bones, antique taxidermy, anime figures, swords, vintage Mushroom kitchenware, and pretty much any shiny thing I find on the ground. I cannot confirm or deny that I am Mothman, but I will say that no one has seen Mothman and I in the same room together. My favorite colors are pastel pinks, greens, and teal. I bet you’ll never guess what my favorite animal is.
